Terms of Service
These terms apply when you visit acustomname.com or buy from A Custom Name. By placing an order you accept them, together with our Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Warranty and Privacy Policy.
1. Our products
We sell personalized ceramic mugs that are made to order. Product photos are mockups showing how a design looks once printed; the shade of a color can differ slightly between a screen and the finished mug, and placement of the text may shift by a few millimeters from one print to the next.
2. Your personalization text
- We print the text exactly as you type it, including spelling, capital letters and punctuation. Please check it carefully before checkout.
- You confirm that you have the right to use any names, words or images you send us, and that they do not infringe anyone else’s rights.
- We may refuse or cancel an order, with a full refund, if the requested text is hateful, harassing, obscene, unlawful or uses protected trademarks or characters.
3. Orders and pricing
Prices are shown in US dollars. An order is accepted once you receive our confirmation email. If a price on the site is clearly wrong because of a technical error, we will contact you before producing the order and you may cancel it at no cost.
4. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
5. Production and delivery
Production takes 2–4 business days. US transit takes 5–8 business days. Shipping cost for US addresses: Free. International shipping costs are shown at checkout. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.6. Cancellations, returns and warranty
Orders can be cancelled free of charge during a 24-hour window after checkout; after that a cancellation fee of 15% applies to orders not yet shipped. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, and a restocking fee applies to returns for personal reasons. Damage on arrival must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Mugs are covered by a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects.
7. Intellectual property
The site design, text, product templates and photos belong to A Custom Name or are used with permission. You may not copy them for commercial use. Text you supply for your mug remains yours; you allow us to use it only to make and deliver your order.
8. Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the website, for example by trying to break its security, scraping it at scale or placing fraudulent orders. We may block access or cancel orders linked to such activity.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
